Cloth Filters for Irrigation Systems

How do Cloth Filters work?

Our Cloth Filters operate by loading filter cloth into the rear of the filter unit. The cloth is then fed through rollers, exiting at the front. Water enters the top of the filter, where it is evenly dispersed over the filter cloth by baffle plates. This design ensures uniform water distribution across the cloth, maximizing filtration efficiency.

As water passes through the cloth, impurities larger than the cloth’s pores are trapped, allowing only clean water to flow through. Over time, as the cloth accumulates impurities, the water level inside the filter rises. A float switch is then triggered, activating the motor to advance the filter cloth and discharge the built-up debris from the front of the filter. This debris can be collected in an optional waste container for easy disposal. The filtered water is then returned to a storage tank, ready for reuse.

Water Silos

Water Silos

AdeptAg offers water silos as a cost-effective solution to store water in your greenhouse. With stored water, you will have irrigation water you can control. Farms in North America are experiencing water shortages and/or rising water costs. By installing water silos farms can turn free rainwater into a valuable advantage. If you have on-site wells, a water silo allows wells to run continuously, filling a water buffer large enough to store water to irrigate an entire farm for a day.

Farms with gutter-connect greenhouses can collect free rainwater that would otherwise drain away. AdeptAg can help you find the right solution for your water storage needs.

Recirculation

Recirculation

Recirculation is not only about saving on fertilizer and water costs, it’s also about saving our future. AdeptAg can help you design the best greenhouse system for maximizing the value of your drain water and protecting your crops.

Did you know that in 2010 Ontario Canada’s government legislated that all greenhouse water must be reused? Recirculation has become a big industry topic.

Whether it is to recycle water on a simple closed-loop ebb and flood system or a more complex farm plan, the AdeptAg team has the expertise to help convert a farm that recycles no water to a farm that gets it all back to the last drop.

AdeptAg knows that recirculation is not only about saving on fertilizer and water costs, it’s also about saving our future.
