Automated Shipping System:  For many growers, this is an area of operation in which they see the most room for improvement.  For some growers, their shipping system, or lack thereof, is one of the most challenging areas of their business.

How many times have you seen, carts chaotically pulled around shipping areas, “grocery shopping” to fill orders?  Discouragingly disorganized, inefficient, time/labor consuming, and perhaps, worst of all, prone to errors.  Shipping errors translate to lost revenue, administrative/billing cleanup, and ultimately, unhappy customers. Many operations have simply grown out of their shipping methodology and keep adding band-aides (like more labor) and workarounds every year without addressing the root issues.

BURRO Grande is a heavy-duty, indoor/outdoor collaborative robot, designed to help laborers work more productively. To date, Grande has primarily been deployed in towing applications for nursery and greenhouse customers. However, Grande is well-suited for countless other carrying and towing applications.

How the Burro Grande works

Burros use 24 sensors, including cameras, Lidar, and high-precision GPS, to navigate indoors and outdoors. Burros can run on “digital train tracks” through complex settings, all day long, even if GPS is not available. They use AI to understand their surroundings and safely travel through tall weeds and branches, and stopping for real obstacles and people.

Drive Line Conveyors are portable, modular conveyors used to provide short- or long-term solutions for efficiently moving plants throughout a greenhouse or nursery. What makes these conveyors unique is they are connected section to section by a driveshaft under the conveyor bed with a spring-loaded quick coupler. Available in sections of 2-6 meters, the conveyors are easily moved into place to form up to a 50-meter conveyor (over 150 feet), with only one variable-speed Drive unit required. The Drive Line Conveyors are built from aluminum extrusions and are offered in a slide or roller bed. Fixed or tripod legs are available, as are wheels to make moving sections even easier. Multiple drives & slaves can be laid out to create multi-directional conveyance systems. Optional lengths, widths, and accessories are available as outlined below.
